What’s New in March?

Sat, Mar 7, 2009

General

Hi everyone, we have been very busy over the past couple of weeks or so planning and making some exciting changes to the Student Finance Blog.  I can’t exactly reveal some of the details just yet because not everything is 100% set in stone as we speak.  OK so lets go over some of the big features and changes which will hopefully be introduced in March.

Sunday Book Club

The Student Finance Blog receives many emails per week requesting some recommended reading to help them with their finances.  So we have decided to create a Friday Book Club.  As you have probably already guessed, every Friday we will be reviewing a book on the blog.  All books of course will be relevant to personal finance, student life or even both.  Stay tuned for an opening announcement on the Friday Book Club.  Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to participate in the Friday Book Club, suggest a book or even create a review, you can get in touch via the contact us page.

Student Finance around the World

Every week on the Student Finance Blog, we will be discussing and highlighting some important news, issues and even giving you some links to useful blogs/sites from around the world.  One week we could be discussing student loan repayments in the US, the next we could be delving into the state of Universities in Spain.  Again, please get in touch if you would like to help us with this feature.

New Blog Sponsors

As the blog has increased in popularity and readership over the last few months, more and more people have become interested in advertising on this site.  In the next week or so we will be taking on some new and exciting sponsors, don’t worry we would never fill the blog with useless and irrelevant ads.  If you would like to know more about advertising spaces on the Student Finance blog, get in touch or check out the advertise page.

Monthly Competitions

We have been planning to introduce SFB Competitions for a while now, since around January in fact.  We hope to get the ball rolling in the next week or two.  The competitions will be free to enter and it’s your chance to win some cool and yet very useful prizes.  Announcements will follow shortly.  If you’re a site or blog owner and wish to promote your brand on the Student Finance Blog, why not sponsor a competition?  Contact us for more information.

So there we have some of the big changes that will be happening in March on the Student Finance Blog, we hope you agree that these are some exiting additions to what we offer here on SFB.  If you would like to be kept updated regarding goings on at SFB, simply subscribe to our RSS feed via a reader or by email.
